SMITA Research Lab in association with AIIMS, New Delhi organized Thoracoscopic workshop for paediatric surgeons to develop neonatal surgical skills in a safe and controlled environment. Hands-on sessions were provided using high-fidelity synthetic models developed by SMITA Research Lab. The workshop aimed to enhance the surgeons' proficiency in performing minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgeries on newborns. More than 10 surgeons from different institutions across the country attended the workshop, demonstrating the high level of interest and commitment to advancing neonatal surgery. The event provided a platform for collaboration and networking among these surgeons, fostering a community of professionals dedicated to improving healthcare for newborns.
