Model LBS Lab Bicomponent Extrusion Machine, Hills

Model LBS Lab Bicomponent Extrusion Machine, Hills

Features: The bicomponent melt extrusion machine is designed to run low volume lab trials, for a wide variety of polymers. It has two feed units with two extruders, each with two corresponding heating zones. Spinning temperatures can be varied up to 400°C. The temperatures of the zones, metering pump rpm, winder speed can be varied independently as desired to obtain various deniers of filaments. Maximum winding speed 1000m/min, 0.1 kg packages, 75mm diax150mm tubes. It is equipped with spin finish applicator that can be used to apply spin finish to the filament.

Performance: Various cross sections like sheath core, side by side, trilobal, segmented pie, islands in sea, hollow etc can be spun. It also has the facility of spinning homo filaments.

Applications: Bicomponent conductive core sheath filaments, various filaments with different cross sectional arrangement of the two polymers.
